About Venice Skates
I’ve been skating since 1971. I never went pro. Never sponsored. Still not.
Over the years, I’ve skated with some of the best who ever stepped on a board. In the ’90s I started a wheel company called PepWheels and I owned Venice Extreme, a skate, surf, and snowboard shop right here in Venice. I’ve watched skateboarding go from backyard pools to the Olympics, and through all of it I’ve been the same as most skaters: someone who does it because they love it, not because anyone’s paying them.
That’s who Venice Skates is for.
We started in 2024 to make shirts for the everyday skater: the one who’s been working on the same trick for three months, the one who skates before work, and the one whose knees file a complaint every session and who goes anyway. Skateboarding is supposed to be fun, and our shirts are, too. They’re funny, a little sarcastic, and honest about what this thing actually looks like for the rest of us.
The shirts themselves are soft, comfortable, and built to hold up, because a shirt you love should outlast a few slams. Every order is printed in the USA.
Never pro. Still skating.
